Fire-Resistive Vault Door
These doors offer protection against
fire and theft, and are available in one-, two-, four- or six-hour fire
resistive UL listings.
The Fire Insulated Vault Doors protect records in file
rooms or storage vaults. Doors and frames have been rated by Underwriter's
Laboratories and carry UL one-, two-, four-, or six-hour fire resistive
listing.
Every insulated door is equipped with a UL Group 2
three-tumbler, key-changeable combination lock, plus five 11/16" diameter
nickel-plated live bolts located on each vertical side of the door. All doors come with a UL-listed relocking device
designed to deadlock the door if the lock is attacked. In addition, an
emergency inside release, standard on all insulated doors, is easily operated
should a person be accidentally locked inside the vault.
Diebold's customer-proven vault doors incorporate UL
Group 2 key-changeable combination locks that provide added protection.
Optional key-locking dials provide additional dual-control security. Gaining
access to the vault requires dual control - the combination and the key.
Frames are engineered for simple, easy adjustment
on-site, reducing installation time and costs. Standard frames accommodate
walls 7" to 18" thick. Fire insulated vault doors are available in a number of
contemporary colors. Handle and dial are chrome against a polished
aluminum escutcheon plate.
Anodized aluminum day gates are available to fit all
vault door openings. The gate is controlled by a key from inside out
outside. Qualifies for Class "B" Mercantile Burglary Insurance
rating.
